Every shot in this work is taken on a tripod with an unmoving camera, and every object in front of the camera is completely unmoving as well. The only movement to take place is through the manipulation of light outside of the frame, which thus fundamentally transforms the objects captured by the camera when they are later pixelated. It is a gestural performance which only exists as such when pixelated and projected; the performance has no meaning until it is reiterated and reiterable. The sound of this work is taken from DVDs of home movies of me with my dad, who died when I was in eighth grade from PSP, a degenerative neurological disorder. This sound is then manipulated by me, as well as run through the same structures of glass which are present throughout the visuals of the work.
